There have been many forced changes over the last couple of years to how we run our businesses due to Covid. One that Bronya and Sammie think is a good thing is the acceptance of Zoom! 

In this episode we talk about how we conduct consultations online, how we've come to be really comfortable with it and what both the advantages and disadvantages are.

 

After attending The Cake Professionals, The Regionals in this episode we do a quick round up of the day. It was an amazing day with so much to learn, and whilst we don't want to totally repeat everything from the day there were definitely a few stand out things that we wanted to share.

We can't wait until next year's conference in March.

Both Bronya and Sammie have experience of selling cakes and bakes to cafes and coffee shops. Sometimes it's been successful, sometimes not.

However, like all good conversations, we also chatted about why cake makers should educate themselves about how to run a small business and value their worth as cake makers, as well as a few small hints and tips like putting your cake dummies in the dishwasher instead of the bath to clean them.
